August 20, 2001
The Board of Supervisors of Pennsbury Township held a regular meeting on Monday,
August 20, 2001. All members, Mr. Patten and Ms. Howley were present and the
minutes approved as submitted.
At 7:30 p.m. there was short business meeting before the Penn's Village Conditional
Use Hearing scheduled for 8 p.m. Mr. Houtmann reported that the Ridge at Chadds
Ford is putting in the road sometime this week. They uncovered a spring which they
had to pipe into an inlet. Mr. Houtmann will meet with Dave Allen this Wednesday to
go over Wedgewood Drive and the Knoll streets. He will also be meeting with the
school district to discuss their sketch of the renovations for the Chadds Ford
Elementary School. He also has been trying to get in touch with the builder of lot 17 at
the Courts at Longwood (Bartollotti), but has been unsuccessful. The dead trees on lot
17 are very dangerous and should be taken down. Code Enforcement Officer, Rusty
Drumheller reported he issued 5 building and zoning permits during the month of July.
The Conditional Use Hearing for Penn's Village started at 8 p.m. Messrs. Becker and
Rowland were present. A court reporter was present to take meeting minutes. The
Board of Supervisors rendered a decision on some items but reserved action on others
until they can further study the information presented. A decision will be rendered by
the September 17th meeting.
A bill list dated August 20th numbering 2873-2911, Plgit #143 was submitted and
approved for payment by the township. With no further business the meeting
adjourned at 10 p.m.
Respectfully submitted:
