December 16, 2002

The Board of Supervisors of Pennsbury Township held a regular meeting on Monday, December 16, 2002. All members, Mr. Patten and Ms. Howley were present. The minutes were approved as submitted.

Manager Kathy Howley reported the following:

Roadmaster Dave Allen reported Ray Coe did contact him about putting electricity in one of the small sheds in the park. He will get with Doug Becker about this and also Emergency Management's request to have all outlets in the township building connected to the generator.

Code Enforcement Officer Rusty Drumheller reported that he received a letter from Architectural Hardware. They will be removing all fire doors in the township building and repairing them. They will place temporary doors up and this should take place within the next two weeks. These doors will then have to go through another heating/cooling season and this will be put in writing. Rusty went to a seminar on the international plumbing code and plans to sit for the test to get his certification.

Dave Patten reported he was asked by Jim Sears to review the intertownship cooperative agreement. He appears this is something that is optional for the township.

The proposed 2003 Budget was duly advertised for adoption. The proposed revenues are $$790,550 and the expenditures are $792,825. With no further discussion the board adopted the budget for 2003. There will be no tax increase.

Bill Reynolds recognized Bill Holloway for his professionalism and dedication to the township. The township is indebted to him for all his service. He resigns as supervisor as of Dec. 31st. A bill list dated 12/16/02 numbering 4051-4090, State Fund #168 was submitted and approved for payment. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.

Respectfully submitted, Kathleen Howley, Township Manager
