Hazardous Waste Collection

Household Hazardous Waste Collection is held four times a year in various parts of the county. Check our calendar of events for dates/locations.  The location closest to Pennsbury is Government Services Center, West Chester, in October. For information on what are acceptable materials visit: www.chesco.org/hhw.html.  Counties surrounding Chester County also have HHW collections which you can use.  Check with their solid waste departments for schedules.  Also check our Calendar of Events

Septic Systems

Septic Tanks need to be inspected and/or pumped every three years and a notice sent to the township. Your hauler should have the forms. If not, download it here. It is the responsibility of the lot owner to make sure the reporting has been done.
