IN RE: Application of Maureen A. and Gregory M. McCauley seeking: (1) a variance from the requirement that an adaptive re-use of an historic structure for office space be the “second principal use” on the property under ordinance section 162-1705.B.2; (2) a variance from ordinance section 162-1002 so as to permit a single professional office in a historic structure in the Village Residential zoning district, per ordinance section 162-1705.B.2; (3) a variance from the lighting restrictions of ordinance section 162-1707.B so as to permit uplighting of the building; (4) a variance from ordinance section 162-1707.C so as to allow for reasonable business signage; and (5) a variance from ordinance section 162-1707.D so as to allow screening in the side yard to screen parking from the front view; and such other relief as may be required to enable the adaptive re-use of a historic barn as office space on property located at 519 Kennett Pike, Chadds Ford, PA (UPI #64-5-49.5) in the Township’s VR – Village Residential zoning district.
